Blogmas Day One // Woody Allen

So today, Tuesday 1st December 2015, is the 80th birthday of the one-and-only Woody Allen, legendary filmmaker.

Now, I'm ashamed to say, as a film fan, I haven't actually seen any of his films... But my personal Woody Allen watchlist is as follows, in two categories -
Older films:
• Annie Hall (obvs, the iconic Woody Allen)
• Manhattan
• Hannah and Her Sisters

Newer films:
• Vicky Cristina Barcelona
• Midnight in Paris
• Magic in the Moonlight
• Irrational Man

I know these are classic clichéd ones to want to watch but with someone who has a reputation like Woody Allen I think you want to start with the classics.
I'm not about that, trying to be edgy and watching the unknown films, just for the sake of being cool/hipster/basic/whatever the term is nowadays.

Anyway, have you ever watched any Woody Allen films? What do you think?

Fingers crossed for the rest of Blogmas!
